	LAL Fort Lauderdale, located on a shared property with our student hotel, is only seven minutes from the beach and with easy access to a variety of restaurants, supermarkets, banks, shopping centres, and a public library. We offer modern classrooms and a fully equipped multimedia centre with free internet access. The outdoor patio, which is nestled in the tropical gardens of our student hotel, the large swimming pool, the jacuzzi and a fitness centre combine to make a great setting for social interaction.

LYNN UNIVERSITY CAMPUS COURSE
For students aged 14 – 19 years

INTRODUCTION:

LAL Fort Lauderdale’s Young Learner Program at Lynn University in Boca Raton Florida offers an ideal learning environment in a prestigious private university. The program caters to teenagers (14 -19). Courses will combine General English 20 lessons per week with a comprehensive activity program and special optional excursions to be purchased onsite.

Our friendly, dedicated teams are committed to providing younger learners with an experience they will never forget. We support and care for our teenagers from the moment they arrive to the moment they board the plane for home. Daily activities are organized and supervised by our proficient activity leaders.

Our Young Learner Program at Lynn University includes more than classroom study. Students will enjoy the experience of living and studying in a traditionally American university campus setting. You will have many opportunities to mix informally with our staff and American university students; a perfect setting for language and leisure.

LOCATION:
Lynn University located in Boca Raton, Florida is only a 30 min. drive from LAL Fort Lauderdale. The nearest access to the beach is 2 miles from the University and only a short distance from Town Center a large shopping center in exclusive Boca Raton.

Lynn University is a 45-minute drive north of Fort Lauderdale International Airport and 2 hours north of Miami International Airport.

ACADEMIC:
Most of the classrooms are in the main dormitory building, while others are located a short walk within the University grounds. Testing and orientation will take place the first Monday. All classes will be held in the morning.

UNIVERSITY DORMITORY ACCOMMODATION:
Triple room accommodation in suites with private bathroom. Once a week cleaning is included. Additional room amenities include: personal safe for each student in each room, ample closet space and wireless free Internet access.
Each dormitory building offers: TV Room, Social Room and Computer Room with free
Internet access.

FACILITIES:
Library and Computer Lab with free Internet access available all week during posted hours.
All recreational facilities, e.g. gym, pools, tennis, volleyball, basketball and soccer are available to our students during the week from 5:00 PM and on weekends all day during posted hours.

GROUP LEADERS:

One free group leader for each 15 students booked. Group leaders’ accommodation is the same as students’ in a shared triple room with other group leaders. Single room accommodation is limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis. Single rooms are located in a separate dormitory a short distance from student dormitory.

MEALS: 
19 meals per week included: Monday – Friday 3 meals daily: breakfast, lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday 2 meals included: brunch and early dinner. All meals will be provided at the University’s cafeteria. A selection of warm entrees, salad bar and desert will be offered.

ACTIVITIES:
In addition to the excursions, our activity coordinators will host a variety of on-campus activities. For example: bingo night, theme night, selection of organized sports games, Student Olympics, and movie night.
