Courses Offered  

General English classes are the base that all other courses are built around. Students learn Grammar, Reading, Writing, Listening and Conversation with our qualified staff. Our teachers are all qualified to the high standards of the IHWO, CLC and CAPLS. Our instructors are also local to the Whistler area

Core Snowboard Camps. Run by Quiksilver Japan Pro-Rider, Turner Montgomery, itˇ¦s a great way for riders of all levels to improve their snowboarding skills.

FCE preparation. The 5 hour-per-day course is a great way to improve your English skills and the flexible schedule allows students to participate in activities without missing any classes. Cambridge cerrtification is recognized around the world. Taking an official exam is a great way to improve your CV for future employment and studies.

Instructors Course. These courses are designed for those that want to get jobs as a Ski or Snowboard instructor. 10 hours of training with qualified local coaches will prepare you for the CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) or CASI ( Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors.) Level 1 exams.

Work Experience Programs: IH Whistler is proud to offer a work experience program in partnership with the #1 internship placement company in Canada. The English for Hospitality Work and Study and Work and Travel Programs are offered at both the IH Vancouver and the IH Whistler campuses.
