About the school
Bosworth Independent College was established in 1977 and is now
considered to be one of the leading Independent schools in the UK. With
320 students representing over 25 nationalities it is also one of the most
diverse.
Bosworth has a particularly good reputation for students excelling in
Mathematics, Economics and the Sciences. Typical degree routes for
students leaving Bosworth are Law, Architecture, Medicine, Pharmacy,
Economics & Finance, Business Management and all streams of
Engineering.
When applying for university, students are given a lot of guidance on
suitable degree courses. For those students wishing to apply to Oxbridge or
a Medical or Law school, we have a bespoke preparation course to assist
with every aspect of their application.
University Progression
Over the past 4 years our A-Level programme has achieved a 100% pass rate
and students enter well known Universities: Cambridge, LSE, UCL,
Warwick. Our web site provides a comprehensive breakdown of our results
history and university destinations.
We offer Oxbridge Preparation courses to those A-Level students who want
to enter Oxford or Cambridge and we also offer a Preparation Course to all
those aiming to enter Medical or Law School.
Our UFP course is recognised by most Universities and students can enter a
wide range of degree options. This one-year course is only available to
students who are over 17 years of age and have completed their High
School education.
Accommodation and care
Bosworth has 6 single sex supervised halls of residence that are both
comfortable and just a short walk from the College academic buildings.
Each hall has a range of single and shared bedrooms and a common room.
All meals are provided at the College restaurant which caters for a range of
dietary requirements and cultural tastes.
Living away from home in a new city or in many cases a foreign country
can be a worrying experience, so we have experienced and caring boarding
staff to ensure students are safe, secure, comfortable and well-looked after.
Being fully supervised, students have the security of knowing that an adult
is available at all times.
A school uniform is not required, but along with other rules regarding
behaviour we do have a ˇ§dress codeˇ¨ and some students choose to wear a
suit of their choice.
We issue school reports at the end of the first and second term and an end
of year letter in June. New students starting in September or January also
receive a letter at half-term.

THREE REALLY FUNNY NOVELS!!
Have a look at these THREE novels about the whole language studying industry. They are all humorous thrillers, with the odd murder thrown in for good measure, and lots of laughs about people in the industry we all know so well!!
All written by the creator of Asiaquest - Adrian Liley.
Go to the link below and buy the first book: 'The Man in the Middle' which concentrates on all the strange things that happen in a language school in London, as well as the bizarre occurrences in marketing meetings in Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei on a distinctly peculiar marketing trip!
